Advisory:  Fraudulent Mail Alert

Recently it has been brought to our attention that MarketStar Corporation has been falsely associated with a fraudulent check scam involving fake “Mystery Shopping” assignments and payment checks.

Please be aware that MarketStar is in no way affiliated with the checks being issued. If you receive a check from anyone claiming to represent MarketStar or MarketStar Consumer Research, we encourage you to notify local authorities regarding the matter. Do not, under any circumstances, send funds in any form back to the check issuer.

We are in the process of investigating the origin of these fraudulent checks in an effort to halt this activity. In the meantime, be advised that neither our corporation nor any MarketStar affiliate have been participants in issuing any “Mystery Shopping” check payments.
