Direct Sales Management: An Extension of the Internal Sales Team (Cisco)

Cisco, an end-to-end provider of enterprise network solutions, wanted to launch an inside sales team targeting the commercial segment. MarketStar provided a team of Inside Sales Account Managers (ISAMs) functioning in a “semi-partnered” model, working in one-to-one tandem with Cisco-badged territory reps. Because of the program’s success, Cisco has expanded MarketStar’s coverage into eight countries supporting nearly a half-billion dollars in sales quota.
